Television Centre is set to embrace National Gardening Week with several green-fingered activities starting on Monday 29th April. If you dig gardening don’t miss a beet, its thyme to head down to Television Centre for a mint time!

National Gardening Week (29th April – 5th May) is run by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to raise awareness of gardening and horticulture, and to encourage more people to take part in the healthy and productive outdoor activity of gardening.

Cultivating the next generation of gardeners is crucial and the team at Television Centre will be welcoming students from local school Wormholt Park Primary who are set to create some binoculars for a garden hunt, make bird feeders and craft some habitats for insects.

The Hammersmith Community Gardens Association (HCGA) will be at Television Centre on 1st May to host a Plant Sale where the HCGA team will be handing out some helpful horticultural tips! They will also be doing a walk around Hammersmith Park on 2nd May pointing out a range of unique flowers, shrubs and greenery.

On 2nd May Pot Gang are hosting a pop-up shop and two workshops, which you can sign up for here; https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/grow-your-own-workshop-session-two-tvc-community-tickets-884802627477 and https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/grow-your-own-workshop-session-one-tvc-community-tickets-884801704717
